OdoNest — Privacy Policy

OdoNest ("the app") is a car maintenance tracker published by Solruna ("we"). This policy explains what data the app handles and why. The short version: your service records stay on your device; we run no server and require no account.

Data stored on your device only

Your vehicle profiles and photos, maintenance items, schedules, odometer entries, service history, costs, notes, and attached receipt photos are stored in a local database on your device. We cannot access them. They leave your device only when you explicitly use the CSV export feature, which hands the files to an app of your choosing via the system share sheet. Uninstalling the app deletes this data.

Data collected automatically

The app uses the following services, which collect limited data on our behalf:

• Google AdMob (advertising, free version only) — may collect your advertising ID, IP address, and device information to serve and measure ads. In the European Economic Area and the UK, ads are shown only in accordance with the consent choices you make in the app's consent dialog. Purchasing OdoNest Pro removes all advertising. • Firebase Analytics — collects anonymous usage statistics (e.g. which features are used, device model, country) to help us improve the app. This data is aggregated and cannot identify you.
• Firebase Crashlytics — collects crash logs and device state when the app crashes, so we can fix bugs. Crash reports do not include your maintenance records.

Reminders and notifications

Maintenance reminders — including those predicted from your odometer entries — are scheduled locally on your device. Reminder contents (vehicle names, task names) never leave your device.

Purchases

OdoNest Pro (a one-time purchase) is processed by Google Play. We receive no payment details. Your records are never locked behind a purchase: CSV export remains free forever.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

• Remove ads (and AdMob's data collection) by purchasing Pro.
• Reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in Android settings.
• EEA/UK users can change their ad consent at any time from the app's settings.
• Export your data as CSV at any time, free.
• Delete all app data by uninstalling the app.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes, and the current version is always at this address.
